Lipton tea in China milk scare

Lipton Tea from Unilever has become the latest western product that has been found to contain the banned industrial chemical melamine. Unilever has issued the recall in the Hong Kong region, but experts fear it may spread beyond.

This is just another example of companies looking at the bottom line and compromising consumers safety by trying to get the lowest prices. Whenever a company sources from China there is the risk that the quality will not be up to scratch, but big companies seem willing to take this risk (on our behalf!) in return for saving a few cents.
