Apple silences another website

If Apple is intending to win an award for the most evil company in the world, its going about it in the right way.

It was today announced that ThinkSecret, a popular site dedicated to rumours and new developments at Apple, would be shutdown after it leaked several secrets about the development of the iPod and iPhone.

Apple has been criticised for its stance in this action, and should really reconsider what its trying to achieve. The company has already been criticised by a number of consumer organizations for failing to disclose issues concerning iPod batteries, and also requiring consumers to take out lengthy service contracts in order to use an iPhone.

This is perhaps just another example of Steve Jobs, how lauds himself as the common man's man, has really lost touch.

In this day and age it would appear that Apple has become as evil as Microsoft. Poor mac.
